1940 Lincoln Zephyr 4 Door Sedan

 

One might wonder, why? A sedan in what most would consider un-restorable condition, to go through this time and expense wouldn't seem rational. But, this is not just a car, it was Bruce's fathers car and he was determined to have it again just like in the early 60's when he and his dad traveled in it and worked on it. A great story of dedication & devotion!

 

Condition: Terrible, rain gutters rotted off, doors rusted shut, not even a parts car.

Interior had to be removed by shovel.

Body core, lower front pan in place.

Panel replacements were commonplace.

Since we were asked to save all the original body possible, repairs were made rather than replacing parts.

The owner with the people responsible for saving his dad's car. Because of his dedication, we thought a celebration was in order.

 

Ready to load into the transporter to Florida.
