1942 Lincoln Continental

16 years finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, cracking as a result of excessive material and extended ultra-violet exposure, common with old technology. Roof refinished in Single Stage urethane which has and will continue to eliminate problem.

 

1985 Ford LN9000 Tractor *

5 finishes tested, nitrocellulose lacquer, acrylic lacquer, acrylic enamel, single stage urethane, and polyurethane. Both lacquers begun to show wear, color holdout and small stone chipping. The remaining finishes continue to look OK.
